Steinberg MR816X-- Audio Drop Outs with Live 8 and 9

Hi guys!
I've been using my MR816X for many years, mostly with Logic, Maschine and Studio One and with all these it works really well and without issues,
However, with Live, i get constant audio dropouts. Have updated drivers, downgraded drivers......everything!
Can someone please offer some help ?
Am pulling my hair here and to me its the best interface in this price range so i don't want to buy a new one......

I can't offer any advice but my MR816CSX has not given me any problems with Live 9 64 bit (or any other audio app). It should work. Good luck with it.
