i've just got logic pro with its remote app and figured i'd do the same with live 9.

what app would you recommend?

I like Touchable 3. You can see it on youtube. There is a nice in app purchase for being able to control devices.

yes, seems pretty cool except for the price ,and, it appears, that you have to plug it in via usb. seems that would defeat the purpose of being remote.

thanks again as this has given me a chance to review a few. looks like livecontrol is a good one also.

I don't think you have to. Its just an option in the newest version. Previous versions were definitely wireless so I don't see why this one wouldn't be, although I haven't looked at it in a while.

If already have Lemur. There are a few options to control Live.

There is SHOVE which emulates a full PUSH controller on Lemur - https://liine.net/en/community/user-library/view/421/

There's also Livecontrol2 which is quite nice https://liine.net/en/products/lemur/pre ... control-2/.

Both of these play quite nicely with our Lemur/Max app PULL (Ableton Device/VST controller for Lemur) - http://www.xmonsta.com/product/pull-ipa ... ce-editor/ . It's as easy as copying and pasting PULL into SHOVE or Livecontrol2

Touchable is by far the best.

And of course it can be used wirelessly over a Wifi or Ad-hoc network.

I refuse to pay for lemur on the grounds that Liine completely dropped support for all of their previous apps

At least with Touchable, you always always get s speedy response from their team (at least on this forum )Love it.

While that is true I dont think they will ever droga support for Lemur, it is the main product and also has a big user base.

And touchable can do a lot of stuff Lemur can with to her hardware and software.

Easiest and most complete = Touchable 3

I had some issues getting Shove to work with Live and i'm not the only one, worth reading the thread on the Liine forums as some setting up can be involved: https://forum.liine.net/viewtopic.php?f ... &start=190

I'm not sure at all if it works with the latest version of Live seems to get broken with updates.

is it possible to have bigger scene-buttons in touchable?

they are very small and hard to hit in a live situation (especially when playing an instrument simultaneously).
