Pre determined loop regions

Hi there,
I'm only just starting to use Ableton for music production and have used other DAWs previously, I have some pad samples that have pre determined loop regions so when I loaded them up into the DAW it loaded up the loop markers and played a smooth loop plays but when I put them into simpler I can't work out how to load up the regions.
Any ideas
