Changing Scale of Note Steps in Step Sequencer

Hi,
I have recently swiched from using Arturia Beatstep to Ableton Push.
I am wondering how can I tweak the individual scales of each step as I can do in the beatstep like, set a scale > chromatic/ minor etc and turn the dial to go up and down the scale of that particular note...
I can see the SCALE button deactivated while in the drum rack mode. I need to load a sample in the drum rack and then tweak the scale as it runs through the sequencer.
