APC 40 MKII and Launchpad conflict with each other..

Hey guys,

so i just bought a new addition to my hardware equipment. Im using Ableton 9 Live (as you may have guessed) and in terms of Ableton, everything worked smooth, until i bought a Launchpad. I have a BCR2000, Akai APC 40 MKII, AKAI Launchkey and a Launchpad.

So here's the problem:

When i try to connect everything with ableton, everything works fine but SOMEHOW the LP and APC do not want to work with each other.
For example, i can't press the "record-button" on my APC and many other knobs as well.

I use the LP as a Drum Step Sequencer, whereas the APC is my "Mainboard".
The LP is in USER 2 mode, the APC is in PAN.

Before anybody suggests this: Yes, i have already tried using the APC with "remote-off", but that disables the encoders of the APC and i also can't do any Midi-Mapping with encoders.

I hope anyone can help me with this!

The controllers have the same MIDI messages most likely...

Neither controller has an editor, you could use auto map on the LP i think...

Other than that you're going to need to use Bomes or similar to translate the MIDI messages of one before they reach Live...

Thanks man! I guess that'll do it. Do you know if it's possible to have 2 outgoing midi signals on one button of the LP using Bome ? For example, i'd like to have an on/off button for my clips.

You can basically intercept the MIDI data, then choose what you want to do with it, whether it be change the MIDI message or send two new MIDI messages...

I'd advise getting involved at the Bomes forum it's a wealth of information! Seek out DVLSAddict for help!
