For live performance /arrange recording propose:

I like to mute individual drums hits in the playback ("MPC style"). So when you're sequencing your drums with push in a drum rack (with 16 pads and the sequencer), is there a way to mute individuals pads and also record that? Afaik you can mute pads (mute + pad), but this is not recorded right? Any workarounds?

Why wouldn't it?! It's just automation.

I didn't know you can't record Solo. Does it record when you click it with the mouse?

You could never record Solo automation on anything. I think Arm might be the same. You can midi map them, so you could record using loopback methods. But they are not available standard for automation record.
