Warp glitching during tempo changes

I'm working on a piece the moves from 80-90 bp over 8 measures. If I ramp the change as a straight line (gradual) the vocal parts have all kinds of unpleasant glitching, no matter what kind of warping I select. I can eliminate it by stepping the tempo changes, but that's not exactly what I was looking for. Any suggestions?
