Live did an automatic update this afternoon. I was mixing all morning, had a couple crashes when I was in a massive session. But since the update, I'm crashing constantly, even every time I just "Save As", even in undemanding (low CPU) sessions. Anyone else experiencing this with the newest update?

I'm on Live 9.1.10. On a "Late 2013" iMac, 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB Ram, OSX Yosemite 10.10.1

For my interface I'm using the new MOTU 1248 via USB 2.0 (don't worry, TB cable is in the mail!).

I've had issues, Ableton 9.1 keeps saying I have another Re-Wire Application running, (Not true) and crashes.

Tried the Beta 2.1 today for the first time, and that won't open any set's crashes straight away.

Crashing constantly w/ 9.1.10 64 bit on Yosemite 10.10.4 (14E36b) on 2013 MBA 13" using built in audio

Yeah, thogh for me, it's difficult, to know which has caused an issue, but I'm working back with 9.10 because 9.2b just crashed out on me completely.

Ableton have just release the official 9.2 patch today, I might give that a go, just in case it's an install path problem.

Yes, 9.2 crashes. Had trouble installing it too.

Hoping they release an update asap.

I've uninstalled 9.2

BTW 9.2 Beta also failed to start after the 9.2 update It worked fine till then.

Thanks for contributing to the thread, I know Lives quirks over the years, crashes don't always bother me that much, but this was all a bit 'In my face' the day before yesterday.

Same here re crashes.

I removed some old Live version folders and it seems to be working much better. No more crashes.

Yeah, I normally keep the folder clear of versions back a bit a few months, just as house cleaning, never really known if it's helpful or not, however in this case perhaps it would be a procedure worth noting.

9.2 is an instant crash for me. I get approx. 15 seconds before it shuts down. Sent a crash report last night, I'm going to try some rebooting and re-install again tonight after work. Will update.

I forgot to mention that I also uninstalled 9.2 as well as removing the old Live version folders.

After the update today I can't open any of my projects. 9.2 crashes immediately. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. still crashes. How do I downgrade? My workflow has severely been disrupted.
