Max 32 bit and 64 bit installed at the same time?

Hi,

I have installed Live in both 32 bit and 64 bit because of some plug-ins. Is it possible to install Max in both 32 and 64 bit as well? And will Ableton automatically know which one to choose?

Yes it's possible. Just make sure to point (in Live's preferences) to the appropriate Max app version for each Live version.

Nice. But when I download the 64 bit version from Ableton, it shows up as 32 bit when I click "about Max"... Anyone else having this issue?

Yeah, me too. Downloaded the 64-bit version, but when I launch Max 7, it says its running the 32-bit version

Go to finder, select the Max App and Get Info, you'll see a "Open in 32Bit" option thats probably ticked...
