First try...

Great track for your first try. Sounds to me like you are a killer bass player and also had a guitarist lay down tracks. If that wasn't a live bass player, then you have learned some great techniques for laying down bass. This is almost the same type of funky style of playing that I do with Ableton. I play guitar and lay down funk tracks with my guitar going and use the MIDI pickup on guitar to "play" bass lines. I just started to follow you on SoundCloud and will be posting my first track soon and will PM you when uploaded.
I feel anytime progress is made in any manner like posting your first track on Soundcloud is a BIG accomplishment. I will be elated when I do the same.
