Hey guys,

i have a bit of an confusing question:

Im using different kinds of hardware (for example the Korg ESX SD) and would be interested, if it is possible to do the following:

Mono Output 1 + Mono Output of the ESX -> Combined into one with a cable like this ( http://www.amazon.de/Laptop-Klinkenstec ... B003OSTRCC ) and then just plug it in the Macbook and let Ableton detect the audio signal.

Does your MacBook have a mic input, or just the headphone output?

What is 'Mono Output 1' ?

Are you planning to do a live set or is this intended to record a track?

I think you'll be best off using an audio interface.

i have an audio interface but unfortunately it has only 2 line outputs.

Does that mean it is not possible to do this ?

Does it have inputs??

You are saying that you want the KORG to go 'into' the Mac as an input. The audio interface would allow your Korg to go into Ableton Live from the front inputs.
