I'm trying to get a swung-eighths groove on Ableton. By swung eighths, I mean, SWUNG EIGHTHS: for non-theory people out there, that entails subdividing each beat into EXACTLY THREE eighths. Kinda-swung grooves are awesome in the right setting, but I need precision right now.
So I type up "swing" in the All Results search and see a bunch of grooves; for example:
MPC 8 Swing-50.agr
MPC 8 Swing-53.agr
MPC 8 Swing-54.agr
[…]
MPC 8 Swing-74.agr
MPC 8 Swing-75.agr

When I listen to them, 50 is close to straight eighths, but 75 is so over-swung that it seems to be hinging on sixteenth notes. Which of these numbers, 50-75, implies an ACTUAL triplet subdivision?

try MPC 8 Swing-67 or use the vanilla grooves in the Swing folder - Swing 8-75 should be the nearest

or draw the notes yourself in a clip, extract groove, and the resulting groove in the groovepool.
