i like to record drones, one single note, and loop it. the problem occurs when i play the same recorded note on the keyboard again. the note is erased and replaced by the new same note, which ruins the initial recording. so overdubbing seems to be replacing and not adding. furthermore it's very hard to toggle from recording to play at the exact right moment at the end of a bar. if you don't you will either get a gap if you toggle too early or you switch off the note for one complete loop if are too late. i just want to have continous drones without any gaps. i play and hold the note, hit session record, wait let's say 4 bars, then toggle from record to play. now i would expect to have one loooong note looping over and over and allowing me to use the same note to play on top. but it erases existing notes and doesn't play it anymore.

Win7 64bit, Ableton 9.1.1 and reloop KeyPad.
