does anyone else have a issue when loading a song,(I can load a template track that I build all my songs on no problem) that live crashes, i have installed the latest 9.2.1 and max 7.05, and it was working earlier today for once at 256 samples latency, needed to change it to 512, did it, back to crash city, put it back to 256, crash city, any one else have this issue with win10, was working perfectly with 8.1 using a Thinkpad W541 i74810mq with a 1TB 850 evo

Does the song have any 3rd party VSTs or instances or Max4Live?
if the latter, maybe a Java update would help.

same here. Live 9 latest version 64bit and Max latest version, Windows 10 latest version are not useable. Live tries to recover the last song but never finishes. As Max quietly installs it's own Java version I wouldn't want to mess this is up even more by installing another version.

You should be able to... But yeah, don't. Just make sure that the version Max installs IS installed.
