Using a Thunderbolt to Express card/34 adaptor?

Hi Abes
It's been years since my last confession..
I've just bought a refurbed macbk pro late 2013 on Yosemite, with 2 TB2 ports.
My current laptop is a 2008 mbp on 10.5.8 (yes), running an Echo Indigo express/34 sound card.
While the Echo may not stand up to an Apogee etc, it's been pretty reliable for live gigs.
So I was wondering if anyone out there has had any experience with using an external TB to Express/34 adaptor, such as the Sonnet Technologies' adaptor? Was thinking of getting one to save me buying another audio interface.
Might there be driver issues etc?
Appreciate any feedback..
Cheers

...my old rme multiface 1 works flawless with the sonnet adapter connected to my macbook pro...you should check if your card is supported by the Adapter though...

Hi Guys
I contacted Echo Audio but unfortunately there are no Yosemite drivers for a now obsolete product.
Plus they have never tested the compatibility...Bummer. Also it's not listed in their compatibility charts.
Your multiface however maybe...can you test before you buy ??
