Just set up a new FB group dedicated to Acoustic Live Looping with Ableton Live. I'm hoping it will become a platform for members to share their passion, ideas, knowledge and creations specifically relating to the topic.

Beyond the Looper Plugin - Acoustic Live Looping

This may be of interest to those using Ableton for Acoustic Live Looping. (I know many are already using this feature too)
A few years ago I was primarily using the Looper plugin on multiple tracks with dummy clips to control fade ins / outs etc.
I now primarily use the IAC driver (OS only, though there are alts / options for Windows users).
The following is just a short demo of the flexibility and creative potential of using the IAC driver to control various midi map-able parameters.
