Hello, I'm looking at getting some virtual instruments. I'm still kind of a newbie. What do people recommend? I've been looking at Native Instruments Komplete 10.

Vienna is for classical and film scoring, uses tons of resources (that's why they also sell Vienna ensemble pro, to use more than one computer). And well it is very expensive.

Komplete is more general, with lots of synths, and instruments tailored for Pop, r&b and other popular genres. Of course you can make what ever you want with them.

Komplete also comes with Kontakt which has many third party libraries avaible, there are various developers offering orchestral libraries for kontakt, for example Project Sam.
