Its a bit silly having to open a clip and manually select and transpose midi notes.
In Reason u can select a clip and transpose all the notes in one go with a high level transpose utility.
Has anyone written a Max script to do this?

I know. I've been wanting this feature ever since I started using Live 10 years ago.

It truly bums me out when I have 10-15 instruments in a scene, and I need to keep track of which clips I have/haven't transposed.

What really puzzles me is how it -is- possible with audio clips, but not with MIDI clips.

To me, layered MIDI editing is the best solution, since I often just need to transpose one or two bars in a chord progression. Add your voice to this topic: viewtopic.php?p=1657943#p1657943
