I need some good guitar samples/clips/loops to work with. Not happy with Ableton sounds. I need strumming/rythmn sounds for rock, country western, pop and R&B. I need safe sources and am willing to buy. Thank you.

Try the AAS Strum GS-2, not using samples though.

guitar-ish sound, modeling synth is ok. but if you want real guitar sound don't go modeling. They don't sound real guitar at all.
Take a listen to this video. You'll figure it out.

Depends on what "real" means to you...
Actually, IMO, they can sound way better..

(Especially since you can use GR-5 or Amplitube, or.. with the basic sound if you like the GS-2 effects - which are not bad, BTW)
Especially if you're not a guitarist....

Yes, sounds way better through Trash 2 and Magma here, even through Ableton Amp and other processor, such as the Dub Machine.

you can get a cheap electric guitar from a pawn shop strumming isnt too hard to learn but i have no idea if youve ever even played a guitar before
i personally would rather buy a guitar than samples of one

Agree, learn to strum is the best way, coz nothing can replace the real thing. In the old days I'm using a Digitar which somehow feels more musical instead of using the GS-2. But for me the GS-2 is way more useful and efective for my current needs.
