Arpegiatting an external synth with Ableton

I am wanting to use Abletons Arpeggiator plugin in conjunction with my Moog Sub Phatty. How would I go about setting this up? Any help would be muchly appreciated.

I do this....
I use a Novation remote SL to play the MIDI.
Ableton track set to receive the MIDI and send it to the Sub Phatty via my Soundcards MIDI out to SubP MIDI in.
then........put an arp on it!

Just put an arpeggiator in the MIDI track and choose External Instrument from your instruments window. Make sure the MIDI and audio setting are correct and voila! I'm doing this with my Juno 60 right now.
