Need a new midi controller, mine all burned. Just want something to control a looper and record arms and clip records. APC20 worked just fine, maybe I'll buy one again on eBay.
Livid ds1 looks good, too. I wonder if those 9 colored buttons can control a 3x3 of Live's clips.
too bad the NI keyboards are missing controls.
Maybe it's time for Push, but would definitely wait for round 2. 14" seems a bit wide.

It'll be revealed late November, just in time for Xmas. Going to be 14.5". Touchscreen only. $850.

Go and play with it in a shop? You will see that it is really cool to get such a surface for a controller. I am not so sure about the bugs you mention, but I certainly did not take Live and Push to their limits...

Novation Launch Control XL can do everything you mention. Just got one in auction, great size, very flexible box and great editor.

That Novation looks good but has no clip grid.
I should see if there is a script for my Maschine that can show some clips and record arm status and also be able to program the bottom row as looper controls.

Sounds kind of like an iPad with touchAble. (Which I quite like, more than the Push actually.)

There is no way a push 2 will come out before ableton x... it just wouldnt make sense...
