The Who

Post by beats me » Thu Oct 22, 2015 9:46 pm

Never really been a fan and after watching a bit of an old concert on VH1 I think I am even less of a fan. Just horrible. Can somebody explain to me how they ever got so big?

I think you had to be born around 1950 and gone through the culture wars of that (My) Generation.

That’s what I’m thinking. They were kind of punk for their time, vocals with a message set to god-awful music.

So in your opinion musically The Who is on par with The Beatles, Stones, and Hendrix?

In my opinion? Yes.

In terms of an analysis of the actual content of their music? Hell yes.

That it's not on par with Schubert? Yep.
