Support making VST/AUs fully user-friendly in Live

It's high time Ableton fixes these things:
  • The 128 parameter limitation must be removed to aid in programming also plug-ins with numerous parameters from hardware controllers, like the Push. Some large limit on the number of automated parameters at one time is acceptable.
  • Make all parameters in Live instruments automatable.
  • Renaming of parameters and maybe automatic naming that can be edited is very, very important.
  • Lack of Side-chain support with certain companies, like Waves, must be resolved. Communicate and co-operate!
  • Make a timetable for VST3 support known. If you won't support it make that decision and make all VST2 perfectly compatible, by working with the relevant third party developers.

Ableton is an important DAW developer. Own up to this!

Are you registered at the beta site? it might be better to do the suggestion there, in fact I think the different parts of the suggestions are already in the voting list there and have quite a few votes.

Yes, and I probably voted. I'll post the links for that too. But this group shouldn't be left out as this is the only one Ableton claims they are sure to be reading.

Thanks for your post and vote.

really there is zero reason to vote against this. what possible good can come from leaving it as is?

a 2015 DAW with 2005 limitations, why?

They definitely need to be working on VST3 IMO.

Well, at least Waves now supports side-chaining in Live 9. Or if it's the other way around. While you still need to route the audio yourself, this is big! Side-chaining is so useful.
