when applying these three reverbs to a sound do you recommend putting each one on a send by itself or together?

Best to have them on separate sends. If you put them all on one track, you won't be able to use the long reverb on a snare, and the short reverb on a synth, for instance. Having each on a separate send will allow you to determine which instruments get which reverb, and how much is added.
