Push and groove control

Does the new Push 2 give us any better control over groove selection in Clips? Like any control. Given that grooves are a killer feature isn't it odd this has been lacking? What could the reason be to cripple us, the users? All this time and I still don't understand.
Here's the place to vote for this at the Ableton beta site at Centercode (requires an account)
Add/Select groove from Push

That's good question that I'd like to know the answer to as well.

There's no control over grooves from Push right now, just global swing.
Kind of funny. At Loop, there was a panel featuring Gerhard, Roger Linn, Stefan Schmidt (NI), and Carla from Kyma. They were asked what was the one thing they considered a failure that they created. Roger Linn said Quantization, Stefan said Guitar Rig not being adopted by guitarists, and Gerhard said he hated the way he implemented Grooves in Live. Too clunky and takes up too much screen space, so barely anyone uses it. Nice to see everyone answering honestly at least.
Hopefully he'll use that as motivation to relook at grooves and how they are implemented in Live and Push in the future.

Future improvements aren't an excuse for not supporting a major feature. It would seem Ableton just left out an API for grooves as no-one else are supporting it either. It's so stupid.

Ok.
