Ableton 9.2.2 issues...buffering and hard drive usage

So I installed Live 9.2.2 and now when I open Live and open a Live set my hard drive usage locks at 100%. The Ableton web connector (whatever that is) is responsible for a lot of it. And I can't play audio right away the way I used to. The audio won't play right and at the bottom it says it's buffering samples and takes a long time. I'll probably finish this post before it's complete. What's going on? What is the web connector for? Why is it buffering all of a sudden? Why does it take so long? I upgraded to get rid of bugs, not to create them. Thanks.
