The power buttons on fx lost their contrast from L4 to L5--the new buttons go from green to grey when turned off. This is incredibly hard to see at a glance relative to the old green to black contrast.

Also, in the browser, live sets used to be black and green--now just black and grey. Once again, harder to see at a glance.

keep in mind... this is a different SKIN. and the beta only has 1 skin.
you'll most def get the Live 2,3 and 4 skins back in the final release.

we did in 4.

Yes, the final release will contain the old skins plus some new ones, ranging from subtile variations of the default to drastic new ones.

Can you make it transparent too? I kinda like the idea of watching fish swim on my screen while i tweak the operator

i have a question along these lines: is it intentional that all the waveforms are dark blue on a white backgrund in live 5. is this a bug or a new "feature"?

it's easier to tell which waveform you're in when it's colour coded.

anyone?

robert could you please also include
"Mono17" skins from the monolake collection.

the background tone is so warm and makes long sessions much easier on the eyes.
:)

I stick with mono 17 as well. Its similar enough to the default to be familar but it has a classier edge.

ooh. i got one..

Switch skin on scene launch

Lets say you have a big set with loads of scenes. And you want some aid for your mind to remember controls.............
Or for sections with a different tempo.
