Metronome display options?

Is it possible to customize the metronome display so that, for instance, beat 1 is red, and the subsequent beats are yellow/white? Something to give a clear visual delineation of the downbeat that is peripherally noticeable? Instead of just the visual "tick, tock, tick, tock" that is the default setting.
