OT Pattern change in rebirth trough Live

Hi there.
I use ReBirth 2 in conjuction with Live 2 and it´s pretty ok.
I just want to ask if anyone has an idea if it could be possible to use the
midi mapping in live to change patterns in Rebirth.
The pattern change in Rebirth is done by sending computer keyboard commands like 1,2,3,4 usw. I don´t think it accepts midi notes to change those patterns. So i cam up with the idea to reroute midi notes through live and sending out keyboard commands...Would this be possible in any way ? Am i on the wrong track ? Is it possible in Rebirth any other way ?
