..just like any other device which can increase the volume. One needs to compensate for this increase that the effect may have with an output knob. Like Saturator, for example.

When turning up Drive this device goes way too loud without also using a Utility, or lowering the instrument's volume, or turning the track volume down, which is inefficient.

Every applicable device should have an input, output, and wet/dry control.

Couldn't be that hard to implement.
