Disabling the auto "warp" behaviour in the new Simpler

I am well aware of the Sampler alternative now in order to browse through tenth of samples quickly without having their tempo altered, but with the new
and unbelivable auto-slice functionality of Simpler, the auto-warp behaviour really gets in the way. It's quite cumbersome to have to
dis-engage warp every second or so in order to have the slices un-altered

Please ableton, make this user-configurable so that when browsing samples within Simpler the WARP function doesn't turn ON everytime a
new sample gets selected.

Thnx to Angstrom for making it clear :

Please make this a poll. Also it's good to repeat it at ableton.centercode.com for the beta project.

My opinion is that if you drop at classic mode the default should always be warp set to off. If you could also set a preference for this it would be really nice.

I wholeheartedly agree. Also, I find it a bit annoying that one of the most important controls, transpose, is hidden away in another shell, instead of being wired to the front panel like the envelopes and stuff. Especially annoying when using simpler in drum racks.

Last month's Computer Music suggested that Ableton should incluce another shell, that looks more like the classic simpler. This gives easy access to all parameters. As it is, the simpler looks nicer than before, but makes consessions in the usability department.

I am working on a default simpler to use when dropping samples on a drum rack. This is a scenario where i don't need or want my samples warped.

This should be user-configurable, and the warp button should at least user mappable.

Oh wow. That GIF sums it up perfectly. And thanks for bringing back the the helpful paperclip. Here's to hoping that Ableton will allow the default Simpler behavior be modified to suit our workflows.
