Velocity EQ (HPF)

Post by miekwave » Mon Dec 07, 2015 2:04 am

It would be nice to have a HPF or LPF that is linked to Velocity midi value to make more 'realistic' crescendos, especially on Sawtooth type sounds

For Example:
Velocity sensitive eq 6/dbo
Velocity 80 = 6.5kHz
Velocity 100 = 8.5hjz
Velocy 120= 12.5HKz

We need a m4l midi utility patch to map Ccs, velocity etc.

It is called Expression Control, one of the standard Max 4 Live devices. You can map velocity to an EQ8 band.

Or skip M4L and map Filt<Vel, which is in most native devices, to taste.
