How do I smooth out my automation curves so I can convert them into envelopes?

I completely agree!

This goes for all automation. When holding down Option while in Draw Mode, things are too rigid. There should be a smooth option in Automation itself.

I would propose holding down shift, or control (some other modifier) while using the draw tool to smooth out any automation.

for sure!!! Curved automation is a no brainer! silly having to curve each individual step when you want to curve the whole section
