How to check track delay caused by plugins?

Hi folks,
I want to use manual delay (compensation) settings on each track, but is there a way to see what the actual delay (caused by plugins) is on each track, so i can just dial it in without having to do it by ear?!?
Thanks! ....... Mr D

Perhaps someone who is more knowledgable on this topic can chime in, but I'm pretty sure that it can compensate automatically now. Also, if you hover your mouse over it, Live should show the amount of delay caused by the plug-in at the bottom of the screen.

Hi,
you can only see the ms and samples of delay by hovering over the plugin with the mouse, not for one track I fear.
While Live does auto-compensate, there are two instances where the manual compensation is still very useful: (1) the plugin does not signal latency correctly (few old plugins, external hardware) and (2) attack times on bass instruments. Sometimes you have to set a synth bass attack a few ms to prevent popping noises, and compensating for this delay on the track can help with the groove.
I sometimes wonder if all those 0 ms / 0 samples devices really are truthfully reporting - in a long chain, there should be some latency if you have enough of these working on your signal.
Best,
K

I've noticed when I export my sub basses (no sidechain), that are usually about 5-10ms off grid....I'm not sure why
