Push 1 becomes unresponsive after a few bars

Not the drinking kind.....
I'll boot up Live, press play on the Push, the song starts and everything is fine...at 1st. After a few bars of the song the PUSH becomes completely unresponsive. It appears to be hung, the lights don't update (but stay on) and NO button works. Sometimes a power cycle or usb plug out/in will get it going again, sometimes not. Going into MIDI ports on the Live preferences and clicking around the Push User Port will sometimes bring it back to life for a while as well, but it always hangs.
Anyone seen this behavior before?
