What I miss from Cubase that Ableton should incorporate

I would love to see certain functions put into Ableton live that would make it more comfortable to work in. I used to use Cubase and moved over to Live because Live has it's advantages, however Cubase had certain functions that I miss.

To the developers Ableton Live, please consider putting these functions into the next update or one in the near future.

1) The ability to see the midi clips of multiple instruments simultaneously on screen, and have the ability to choose which one to edit by a drop down menu at the top of the screen. The midi notes of different tracks are also different colours which makes it easy to differentiate between them. This way you can edit your midi in relation to the other elements. The advantages of that are self explanatory.

2)The ability to 'Lock' plugin windows on the screen. This function helps especially when viewing audio analysis tools on the master bus, and editing of tracks. It's frustrating when it goes off screen every time you click on a track besides the master, then to view the audio analysis too you have to click back on the master bus. It would be great if the analysis tool just locked on screen when I choose it to.

3) This isn't in Cubase but Ableton should be the first:

The left to right movement of midi notes and play curser is old school. This was developed from the traditional "Staff'. Whoever we have moved far from those days. How about making an option where the play head and midi notes note move 'Up to Down' or 'Down to up'. That way, editing notes will relate directly to the Midi keyboard I see sitting right in front of me and I'll avoid having to constantly mentaly convert Horizontal to Vertical what I see on screen.

4) I would like the ability to completely deactivate the edit window on my arrangement window, which I like to keep clear and dedicated to arranging. I like to have my edit window open on the session view screen with the browse menu. Sometimes when I double click on a clip in the arrangement screen, the edit window automatically opens on the arrangement screen, however this is un desired. There should be some way to lock the screen from that happening.

Please make these functions a reality in Ableton Live.
