Download Ableton Orchestral Canvas - Standard Score Order
If you are working on Orchestral Arrangements I created a new template called MW Orchestral Order
This is to be used with
Ableton Suite 9:
and
Orchestral Strings
Orchestral Woodwinds
Orchestral Mallets
Orchestral Brass
Symphonic Chiors
libraries
Works smoothly with EWQL Symphonic Orchestra, Symphonic Chiors, Hollywood Strings/Brass/Woodwinds, etc http://www.soundsonline.com. As well as Sonivox and Project Sam libraries.
I suggest 32GB of ram if you intend to use at least 50 tracks and 64GB if you wish to use all 101 tracks. You can also load a section and delete sections you wont be using. You should have i7-4770k or better proc to take advantage of all the 'Orchestral Placement' and 'Tape' macros.
If you use VEP, simply drag the VEP instance into each slot at the beggining of the instrument chann for each instrument, linking is really easy.
All sections are bussed accordingly for seemless mixing and recording.
You can download it here
https://www.dropbox.com/s/q8bjucjkivwvn ... e.zip?dl=0
All Instruments have 24 stereo placement and tonal sculpting knobs. These are turned off by default.
Load your Orchesral Libraries with easy drag n drop into the instrument rack section.
MIDI rack contains KEYSWITCH and NOTES chains for easy configuration of KeySwitch labels in your piano roll.
Recommended KB Mapping
`- Arm Practice Piano or String Ensemble Patch so you can instantly try out new musical ides and drag MIDI to multiple tracks accordingly

Thanks you. Even when working with way less instruments, I'll maybe check your rack!

Thanks MoneyPenny and Jur
I appreciate any feedback that will help me to improve orchestral racks. If there are any issues with comparability or CPU. Happy composing!

I would guess some kind of system monitor? The icons look like CPU, RAM and Disc - with the speedometers displaying percentage of usage?Tarekith wrote:Just out of curiousity, what are those little speedometer looking display in the bottom right of the first image?

Cool. Which Windows? I can't see a way to get this view in Windows 8. I just get the regular graph displays.fishmonkey wrote:yep, it's a system meter gadget that comes installed with Windows...

That would be 'Windows 10 Hardware Monitor Widget' with speedometer skin. I use to it see how hard my CPU/Disk/RAM is being driven in realtime and help diagnose crash issues. I use this in conjunction with Open HardWare Monitor. http://openhardwaremonitor.org/Tarekith wrote:Just out of curiosity what are those little speedometer looking display in the bottom right of the first image?

Wow this is neat.
I've been building a template for years but always get sidetracked when loading instruments and end up wasting time playing instead of focusing on building so there all half unfinished. This could be a real time saver. Will try and focus and load in my EWQL instruments into this.

I like how you included information in the INFO VIEW for the audio effect racks. Helps a producer figure out what the rack was intended for.
