Ableton Forum

I'm running Ableton 8.4.2 and I recently updated to Yosemite (behind the times i know). I'm noticing one odd issue. When I open certain plugins and then delete the plugin/minimize the plugin window, a blank white plugin window remains on the screen and it will not allow me to close it.

Has anyone experienced this issue?

I have the same issue with just a couple of plugins, running Live 9.5 on Yosemite. Most work fine. If you delete plugin the ghost goes away

Which ones?

After a bit of research is seems to be an issue with plugins using an outdated version of the JUCE framework.

Lexicon PCM Reverbs, NuGen Audio plugins and XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2.

All last version plugins. At least this are the ones affecting me.

This bug happens "apparently under Live 32bit only" in newer OSX versions, Yosemite and El Capitan.

So far, i'm having issues with Glue Compressor and TAL Plugins but I have not tested all of my plugs yet.

Thanks for the info. I actually filed another 32bit only bug to FXpansion some weeks ago.
