You forgot "Both". I used both a Laptop and a Macbok Pro up to not so long ago. I'm sure other user also might use both, at least a certain amount of users at some point. I'm equally sure a certain percent of users/members don't use Live exclusively.

you are right

i really think all the companies should support linux even if it is just one distrobution

i have gotten abelton live 8 to work inside ubuntu linux with playonlinux and wine before so i know it works atleast

the thing that sucks on linux is audio is ridiculously complicated to set up with jack audio and everything

I also use both.
It would be nice if some day I could use one single operating system that would run everything. With proprietary systems the user always wins.
