Live's Audio Headroom vs. Logic/Cubase/PT

Is it just me or does anyone notice a difference in the quality of the audio engine between Live and Logic/Cubase/PT, etc.. ?
I've seen this mentioned before and never took it to seriously but this past weekend I was working with a buddy in the studio and we'd work in Live then jump to another DAW and the audio seemed to have more presence. As curious as I was, I then played the same tracks in other DAW software and still felt Live has less headroom in comparison.
