not sure if this is just maxforlive-related ...

I am currently working on some looper-patch and it's already possible to store and restore different sample/configuration-(pre)sets (adv-files) and I am wondering if there is a way to launch these presets by launching a new scene (which are different songs in my case) so I could prepare different presets for different songs.

this should be done easily, I thought, but I havenot found much about it.

build a button or knob into the max patch that is automatable.
then you could use dummy clips to automate the parameters in the max patch

maybe I was kind of unclear ...

my question was not how to automate any knobs etc (I already do that), I just want to know how to load presets while launching scenes.

or maybe I do not understand the concept with "dummy clips" !?!
