Tail of looped waveform

Hi there,
if I record a 1-bar line on my piano.
The last note will ring into the second bar.
Then I make it a clip in the session view.
And I set the clip to loop just the first bar.
How do I make Live play the tail when I want to stop looping the clip?
Say, I want to loop one bar seven times, and then let the entire waveform ring out into the next section the 8th time.
Also, If I want to export the clip to wav or aiff for arrangement in another DAW.
How do I make it export the entire waveform, including the fade-out from the 2nd bar, and not just the looped part?
Is it OK to move the left and right limits to do this, or will that distort the warping.
Hoping someone can shed some light on these basics
