LFO style modulation of a sample

Hi guys,
Here is an example of a sound that starts slowly but after a while it starts rising and going faster (until 4m35)
At 7m25 you can hear it again
https://youtu.be/08SDehGKXg4?t=4m8s
In a track I'm currently making, I would like to try to do this kind of effect with a sample
So I am wondering how you would do this as I have no clue. Preferably with an Ableton instrument of course.
I'm thinking of an LFO driven filter but I'm not good enough at Ableton (or sound design) to figure out how to do this.
Would love to hear your advice on this
Thanks
