Push2 - now I need to press more buttons, use 2 hands???

I've just unboxed my Push2 and am having as look around and am a little worried about some of the little details I am noticing.
I am a keyboard player who plays with 5 audio tracks and 3 midi tracks (played live via a keyboard and occasionally the Push pads).
1) I used to be able to switch between the 3 midi tracks using the arm buttons, so I could use the different midi instruments whilst in session mode. Now it appears I need to remove my hands from the keyboard to press record and arm - seems a backward step (for me)
2) I used to be able to stop tracks just by clicking the stop button at the top of each track. Now I apparently have to select the track I want to stop and click stop clip. What if I want to have another track selected?
Aaah...(few moments fiddling)....1) I can solve by mapping 3 buttons on my keyboard to arm the tracks (still quite liked the way Push 1 worked)
2) I noticed I can lock the stop clip button which give me the previous stop button behaviour.
...so back to exploring (and feeling more positive)
