Is there a max device that can host more than one clip in a slot?

I got the idea from how you can morph between different instruments on a playing midi clip, using the chain selector.

I would love to be able to morph between different different audio clips .

You won't need M4L, since you can "host" each audio file in a Simpler and put a number of them into chains of a rack.
You can crossfade between chains, if that's your idea of "morph".
