Hey guys,
I would like to know, how I start a sample in a clip after 8 bars or 6 seconds?
I use various scenes and in one, I would like to start a spoken 1234 sample after 8 bars intro sound. Is there a opportunity
to move the start point a few second in front of the sample?
Thanks

You could move the clip to arrangement view, then highlight the clip plus 8 empty bars before the clip. Then press cmd J to consolidate to a new clip and move that one back to session view. It will render the 8 bars of silence in front of the audio as part of the clip.

if you want more choice than the quantization option (8, 4, 2 bars ....) you need to warp your sample and set the start to a negative value, example : -5 bars -3 beats -2 semiquaver (sixteenth note.)
