Reverb settings on glitch music

Does anyone have any advice on how to add reverb to glitch music? I feel like I know my way around most of the effects pretty well to get the raw sounds I want but reverb always sounds too subtle to hear any difference or too obviously echoey.
I use Oval's Textuell as a reference track but it all sounds strange with reverb when I listen on headphones, earphones, speakers or as an MP3 via Sonos.
