Why I can't drop a WAV file on an "Audio Track"?

I've used Ableton many times, but the last time was many months ago, and I think that I might have formatted my computer (windows) in the meantime, downloading ableton again and installing it. Maybe I didn't test it at all at that time.
Now I need to use it and I'm not being able to drag and drop WAV tracks (nor MP3s) on the "Audio Tracks" of it.
How do I solve this?
Quick solutions are appreciated, I just need to glue two audio tracks.
Thanks.

How are you not being able exactly?
What happens if you drag a file into the the track clip area? What happens if you use the Live browser instead? Which Windows version?

Are you using Live as an administrator?

When running Live as administrator, you can't drop files from Windows - you have to do it from Live's browser. Maybe it's the same for OSX too - don't know.
I had this problem too, as I need to run Live as administrator to make Purity VST act properly.
