Hi,
(please link if you already discussed it in the forum)

i would like to play with a drum loop and modify it in the step sequencer
while I launch a new scene.
right now it always select the next clip or nothing if there is no new clip in the next scene,
BUT I can't continue modify the clip I was playing with.

Is it possible to launch a new scene but push2 stays with the clip I was modifying?

There is an alternate workflow that might not fully be the solution, but might be closer to it.

If you hold the User button I think it is, there are options to choose the type of workflow. One is scene based. The other is slightly different.

So, I'd give that a try.

but unfortunately it always selects the next clip when launching a new scene, with both worklows,
which is of course very helpful and clever, but it would be nice to be able to continue modifying the previous clip, in my case a drum loop,
without changing to the session view on push 2 and select the clip again.

wait... why can't you just copy the old clip to the new scene? Just duplicate it? Or you could just duplicate the scene! then work on the "old" clip in the new scene?

it is not so easy to explain,
but I wan't to start a new scene on the fly while I'm modifying the the drum clip.
to copy a clip takes some extra steps....
