Is there a way to record realtime sounds with ableton

im not talking about automating stuff. i mean to record audio as you do stuff and then take it on the playlist as any audio

You can have an audio channel receive audio from the Master. Just mute it so you don't get feedback (or route it to something other than the master channel, or change Monitor to OFF).
If you're doing something involving launching clips and are trying to record that channel as a clip, then make sure to remove the stop buttons of all other slots so you don't accidentally trigger a new slot, unless that's what you're after.
Variations of that should get you what you're trying to do hopefully.

Hook a double male headphone cord
In ur computer and other end to your interface play a video
and set ur options in your in out tab to IN
I'm doing it now
